1. How long is the Massage Therapy Certificate Program?
The college's curriculum was developed to accommodate a diverse student body. BCMT offers two scheduling options, 12 and 18 months, for completion of the 1000 Certificate in Massage Therapy Program. The 12- month option is available three times per year; in January, July, and October; while the 18-month option is offered twice per year in January and July.

2. Why would I want an AOS Degree?
The AOS Degree sets the new standard of educational excellence in the massage therapy profession. This postgraduate training, now open to graduates of approved 500-Hour programs who qualify for credit for prior learning, combines advanced coursework in anatomy and physiology with progressive education in hands-on techniques for treating clients who have experienced trauma and injury. It allows the student to choose a focused track of specialization while developing a massage therapy practice and gives the practitioner added confidence and skills when working with all types of clients.

3. Is BCMT accredited?
Yes. BCMT is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), a National Accrediting Body. BCMT is approved by the State of Colorado , Division of Private Occupational Schools, and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).

4.What is the cost?
Tuition is $14,200 for all 1000-Hour Program schedules. The AOS program tuition is $4,000; there is an additional $190 lab fee and the cost of books, charts, and supplies is estimated at $200 per quarter. Please see the tuition page for more information.

5. What are the admission requirements?
Before applying to the 1000-Hour Program you will need to meet the following requirements:
. Possess a high school diploma or GED
. Be at least 18 years of age by the date of enrollment
. Be physically able to perform massage techniques
. Have received at least two massages from a professional Massage Therapist or through the BCMT Student Clinic

The AOS Degree Program is open to BCMT graduates from 1991 and graduates of approved 500-Hour programs who qualify for credit for prior learning.

6. What courses transfer to BCMT?
BCMT is pleased to announce its NEW Transfer of Credit Policies for the 1000-Hour and AOS Program.  The college also considers Credit for Prior Learning in which applicants receive credit for coursework/professional experience. 7. Will BCMT courses transfer to other colleges?
BCMT classes may transfer to other colleges. You will need to contact the college you wish to transfer the BCMT class to for more information.

8. How long will it take to process my application and be accepted?
Once your application is complete, an Admissions Coordinator will contact you to schedule an interview with one of our faculty. You will be notified by mail within two weeks of your interview.

9. Where can I get a professional massage?
Find a Therapist or visit our BCMT Student Clinic to schedule a massage with a BCMT graduate.

10. What is the Professional Student Clinic?
AOS students have the opportunity to offer, and receive compensation for, massage sessions in our Professional Student Clinic. The Clinic is designed to give students the experience of a private practice, working independently without supervision, and the chance to build a clientele. Massage sessions are $45 per session. BCMT books all client sessions and provides supplies, linens and a clinic treatment room. Students are paid monthly at $30 per hour for each session.

13. What is the average class size?
. Hands-on courses: maximum teacher to student ratio is 1:20 .

14. What times are courses scheduled?

15. Will I be a Certified Massage Therapist when I graduate?
Yes. After graduating from the 1000-Hour program, you will be a Certified Massage Therapist, or CMT. You will also be eligible to take the National Certification Exam (NCE).

16. Where will I be able to practice Massage Therapy?
Requirements for licensure vary from state to state. Your 1000 hours of training will allow you to work in any state in the United States and internationally.
