One-Day Courses:

 

Foot Reflexology

This course will introduce you to the theory of zone therapy and the locations of the reflex points that correspond to organs, glands, and other body parts. You will observe demonstrations of basic therapeutic techniques and practice them with your classmates. At the end of the course, you will have an awareness of how reflexology can help health problems and will feel comfortable in offering foot reflexology to your friends and family.

Beginning Canine Massage

What to learn how to give back to your favorite canine companion? This course is for those with no previous massage experience and is geared toward canine owners. Basic Swedish massage strokes, brief anatomy, and a behavior overview are taught to help maintain the health and well-being of your canine. Dogs will be provided for hands-on experience and there will be a field trip to a doggie day care/hotel.

Two-Day Courses:

 

Introduction to Massage Therapy

Find out if massage therapy is the right career for you. This two-day introductory class will teach you how to perform a full-body Swedish massage using proper technique. It’s a great experience for individuals or couples.

 

Dates: January 16-17 (Sat-Sun)/April 24-25 (Sat-Sun)/July 17-18 (Sat-Sun)/November 13-14 (Sat-Sun)

Healing Touch: Level 1

Level 1 is a personal adventure into one’s heart and soul. This class invites you to explore who you are, what you believe, and what you can actually do with your hands and heart to facilitate a healing response in others and in yourself. In Level 1 you will learn about the human energy system, and twelve methods that you can use to support healing in others and in yourself. They include how to relieve pain, calm emotions and clear up energetic congestions in yourself and others.

Healing Touch: Level 2

Level 2 is your opportunity to take the methods you learned in Level 1 and put them together into a cohesive, sequential ten step Healing Touch session. It will move you to the next level of understanding how to sense energy and deepen your work. You will learn how to conduct an energetic intake interview and the basics of documenting your Healing Touch treatments. Additional methods are also learned to enhance your treatment sessions including back/neck techniques, Spiral Meditation and Mind Clearing.

Healing Touch: Level 3

Level 3 focuses on learning about the three dimensions of the human energy system and on your development as a healer. This includes acquiring Higher Sense Perception (HSP), a deepening of the Healing Touch Sequence, working with spiritual guidance, self-development/ self-care and advanced practitioner preparation for doing energy therapy. Utilizing these concepts and methods you will be more empowered to work with clients at a deeper level of mind-body-spirit movement toward healing.

Reiki Level I & II

Reiki is the art and science of energy healing. It is a natural method of healing that channels energy through a practitioner to restore health and the natural healing energy of the individual client. Reiki practitioners learn to utilize the life force energy rather than their own energy to bring healing to the whole person and themselves. In this class, students will learn and practice full body protocol to integrate Reiki into any session or utilize as a stand-alone modality. Class material will cover the history and concept of Reiki as well as the use of Reiki symbols. Students will also learn self-care techniques and distance healing through Reiki.

Vibrational Medicine

This course is an experiential exploration of the energy body - the auric field, chakras, and meridians. Expand your awareness of the human energy system and how to support your whole health and well-being. You will also learn how to incorporate basic energy medicine techniques into your life.

Polarity Therapy

Polarity therapy is the art of healing based on the principles of energy in motion and how our life is governed by these principles. Polarity unites bodywork, diet, exercise, self-awareness, and love into a fully integrated system of health. This course introduces an energy model of the human body based on the chakra system. From this basis, a full-body energy balancing treatment is taught, along with simple exercises, which deepen our sensitivity to subtle energy. Anyone interested in the relationship of energy to healing with the hands will find value in this course.
